Levels of Learning
Learning is a natural behaviour and always involves self development over a span of time. Our traditional learning involve four stages: Unconscious Incompetence You don't know and you don't know that you don't know. Example: Like a book exist of some spiritual topic. Conscious Incompetence You are started learning but you still don't know completely. Example: Started learning car driving. Conscious Competence You have the skill but not yet very much habituated. Example: You know how to drive a car but while talking to someone sit next to you, difficult for you to drive. Unconscious Competence You have skill and you have habituated. Example: You know how to drive and even with people talking and enjoying outside view, can drive the car. Every level of learning need time. Note: Teacher plays a very vital role in traditional learning where a good teacher not only teaches well but also reduce the time to move you from one level to other.
