Levels of Learning

Learning is a natural behaviour and always involves self development over a span of time.

Our traditional learning involve four stages:

Unconscious Incompetence
You don't know and you don't know that you don't know.
Example: Like a book exist of some spiritual topic.

Conscious Incompetence
You are started learning but you still don't know completely.
Example: Started learning car driving.

Conscious Competence
You have the skill but not yet very much habituated.
Example: You know how to drive a car but while talking to someone sit next to you, difficult for you to drive.

Unconscious Competence
You have skill and you have habituated.
Example: You know how to drive and even with people talking and enjoying outside view, can drive the car.

Every level of learning need time.

Note: Teacher plays a very vital role in traditional learning where a good teacher not only teaches well but also reduce the time to move you from one level to other.
